STAR is the Administration of the Standardized Testing and Reporting (STAR).  Test results are used for student and school accountability purposes.

The purpose of the California High School Exit Exam (CAHSEE) is to assess whether students who graduate from high school can demonstrate grade level competency in the state content standards for reading, writing, and mathematics.
